Shimmer Volume 19 and 20 on sale now!

Its officially here! Ring of Honor has released volume 19/20 of Shimmer. As you all know Nikki made her return to Shimmer in these volumes after a long absence from the shows. Purchased your copy today at ROHwrestling.Com. Trust me as an owner of a couple Shimmer DVDs, they are worth every penny.

The fourth part of Roxxi’s Rough cut airs and its a preview for Sunday’s Bound For Glory. She mentions how she has proved herself in the ring and it was her time to win the title. She also says that this Sunday at Bound For Glory she will get revenge on Kong for busting her open and will give Taylor Wilde a run for her money.

Shortly after the segment the tag match begins. Roxxi is tagged in first with Kong. She strikes Kong on the chest with elbows until Raisha Saeed attacks her from behind to help out Kong. They double team her but Roxxi counters the attack with a crossbody. The crossbody wasn’t enough to knock them both down so Taylor goes up on the apron and hits a front dropkick. Taylor is tagged in and gets squashed by Kong. After a while she eventually makes a tag and a fired up Roxxi comes in with hard elbow shots to both Kong and Saeed. She nails Kong with a boot to the midsection sending her to the corner. Roxxi goes outside to the ring apron and climbs up on the turnbuckle and jumps on Kong. She goes for the pin. Only a two count when Saeed comes back in and the two go at it with strikes back and fourth. Kong quickly recovers and decks Roxxi from behind and knocks her down. Taylor gets back in the action and goes after Kong who flies out of the ring when Wilde pulled on the top rope. Roxxi and Taylor attempt to double team Saeed in the ring but it backfires when Taylor’s kick intended for Raisha Saeed hits Roxxi instead. Kong is back and takes Taylor outside. Raisha Saeed scoop slams Roxxi on the mat and goes on the top turnbuckle for a moonsault. She misses and Roxxi gets her in position for the Voodoo Drop. Kong comes in the ring and attacks Roxx from behind and than nails her with the implant buster for the three count.

Gerweck.Net has posted up results for the October 5th TNA houseshow in Plattsburg, New York and by the looks of the report, Roxxi is a blonde.

Awesome Kong pinned Roxxi (with new bleached blonde hair) in not much more than a squash after the implant buster.

On Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV at 9pm for two hours of Total Nonstop Action as the final countdown begins for the “Bound For Glory” Pay-Per-View extravaganza from Chicago on Sunday night!

- After officially joining the TNA roster this past week, wrestling icon Mick Foley returns to “iMPACT!” this Thursday night! With Foley set to be the special enforcer for the Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle match at “Bound For Glory”, what will happen on Thursday with Foley, Jarrett and Angle all in attendance? Tune in and find out!

- Also scheduled for this Thursday night is the official contract signing for the Samoa Joe vs. Sting TNA World Heavyweight Championship match at the Pay-Per-View spectacular!

- Thanks to Booker T, the friendship between Christian Cage and AJ Styles is experiencing more issues. According to TNA management, “The Instant Classic” has requested time this Thursday to speak to AJ in front of the entire world in an attempt to put any issues behind them.

- In singles action, it will be “The War Machine” Rhino taking on Cute Kip of The Beautiful People

- In a number-one contender’s match for the X Division Championship, it will be “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams vs. “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt vs. “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal vs. Consequences Creed, with the winner earning a shot at the gold against Sheik Abdul Bashir on Sunday at Bound For Glory!

- In a non-title match and a preview of the Monster’s Ball match at the Pay-Per-View, it will be TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. vs. Abyss and Matt Morgan on Thursday’s broadcast!

- In Knockout tag team action, TNA Women’s Champion Taylor Wilde and Roxxi will battle the juggernaut Awesome Kong and her manager Raisha Saeed

- Plus, the final matches will be announced for “Bound For Glory” - all this and much more on Thursday’s “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV!

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time for this Sunday taping is 2pm (an earlier start than our usual Saturday tapings in the past).

Volumes 21 and 22 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed for www.ROHwrestling.com during the course of the October 19th taping. As part of the Volume 21 portion, the first SHIMMER Tag Team Champions will be crowned!
